Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool requires only gender, date of birth, general health, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length. Those six inputs are sufficient to return rates. Your name, address and health specifics are only collected when you apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates the carriers quote for the health class you select. The carrier's underwriting may confirm, improve or lower your class. Final pricing is set by underwriting. This site makes no guarantees about prices or coverage.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application is prefilled from the quote you chose, then transferred to the carriers' secure platform. You can save and come back later. You'll sign electronically when ready. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on which carrier, how much coverage, and your answers. Some carriers can approve eligible applicants immediately without an exam. The quote shows which carriers require an exam, which may require one, or which don't need one.
Is a longer term better?
A term should match the years a family would suffer if you weren't here: a mortgage, children still at home, a loan to the business. Longer terms lock in the rate longer but cost more monthly. The tool lets you see 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting tool doesn't ask for your contact details. We don't sell or share your information. We use cookieless analytics. See the privacy page for exactly what information we collect and who sees it.
